Integumentry System |
The Integumentry System is composed of both living and non-living cells. It is made of nervous, muscle, epithelial, and connective tissue. It contains the skin, hair, and nails. These structures form a protective layer on the outside of your body. The system helps you maintain homeostasis by keeping particles, pathogens, and bacteria out of your body. The Inegumentry system works closely with the immune system by keeping most particles, pathogens, and bacteria out of your body.
